Scott with Eli and Pisco

Hi my name is Scott and this is Eli and Pisco. My passions are people, horses,
trail rides and experiencing nature firsthand ... come rain or shine.

As a child in Colorado, I grew up around horses, but as I grew older I fell into
the everyday life (rat race). There was very little time for vacation or time to get
away from the noise and pollution of modern-day society.

Fortunately for me, I came across a very good friend who had horses that she couldn't exercise enough and extended the priviledge for me to work and play with them. This opened and amazing door. The horses brought me back to nature; they grounded me so
to speak.

I would like to pass this on to you, from what I have experienced from so many horses, great horsemen and great horsewomen. This being said, saddle up and let's hit the trail!

    The Gang
Somehow I have wound up with a bunch of great trail horses.  Each one with a fantastic personality, great attitudes, gentle dispositions, and wonderful hearts.

Bella- QH, mare. An exotic name for a beautiful black horse. She is what trail horses are all about; even tempered and very business like. Bella has lots of spunk and a jog trot to die for. Everyone falls in love with this horse.

Bella gave birth to Mr. Independent on 9/11 a little after 6 in the morning. He is bay in color, but that won't last. As most newborns, his size has doubled in 4 weeks. Bella is a great mother. She lets him chew her ears and shares her food. Very laid back.We have had Indy in the trailer and soon he will accompany his mother on the trail. He is a joy to be with

Mr. Independent "Indy"

Starlet Street- Thoroughbred, mare. This horse is every bit a star. Bright, strong, courageous, and will not give up. She is a premier event horse that has gone western.
She was given to me by Chelsea Roberts; who is a great trainer of horses and riders.
If you are in the Virginia area, Chelsea can be reached @ 276-698-8366.
Chelsea, her daring mother and I, spent 3 days in Sycamore Canyon, checking
out the trails and ruins.

Luke- QH, gelding.  talk about being in the right place at the right time, Luke was given to me by a ranch owner up north. Luke is the one that always follows me around to see what's going on. He has to be in the middle of it. He is a beautiful gentle giant.

Eli- QH, gelding. Eli was the first horse that I was introduced to when I moved to Arizona some years ago. He is 18 years old now and is one of those horses that you can put anyone on. He loves kids; loves everyone for that matter. He is the heart of this herd. When Eli is away from the herd, on a ride or a campout, the rest of the herd is anxiously awaiting his return. All the mares think he's hot.

Sara- QH, Buckskin mare. She is a gorgeous 4 year old who isn't quite ready for the trail.  In 2005 I had the pleasure of taking two gals (Vicky and her niece Kim) on a all day ride up in Sycamore Canyon. After the ride, Vicky talked me into taking her horse Sara and making her a trail horse. Everyone that sees this horse, wants to take her home.
Many horses have that effect on us humans.

Chico- Mustang gelding. He is a rescue off the kill wagon. He has been beaten and abused. He is still and probably will always be head shy. He is the toughest horse and most sure footed horse that I have ever been around. In the worse weather or most rugged trails, he is the one that sails through them like he is on a calm sea. I thank my lucky stars that our paths crossed when they did.

Dusty- Paso Fino, gelding. This guy is a stitch. He's almost 4 years old and has a lot of promise of being a great trail horse. He's our circus horse and will be a joy to ride once
he's ready

Pisco- QH, Buckskin mare. Pisco and Chico are the backbone of Equinature U.S.A.  Pisco loves the trail. Strong, courageous and very confident. Pisco is a straight shooter.  She is like a roller coaster on long down hills and is very fun to ride
